"Lord forgive me when I whine.,.."

Romans 8:35-39

Who will separate us from the love of Christ? Will tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36 Just as it is written, "FOR YOUR SAKE WE ARE BEING PUT TO DEATH ALL DAY LONG; WE WERE CONSIDERED AS SHEEP TO BE SLAUGHTERED." 37 But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us. 38 For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, 39 nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord

Paul does not speak of being resolute in our peril, distress and tragedies.
But to remember that in all things we are conquerors.
We may not be able to reconstitute our bodies, or to change circumstances, but we can
overcome them
through the love of our Savior, Jesus...
who promised if we accept Him in our hearts, confess Him with out mouth,
and believe that God hath raised Him from the dead...
We will be saved.
John 10:10.....

Cancer can take away all of my physical abilities.
It cannot touch my mind, it cannot touch my heart, and it cannot touch my    soul.
Don't give up. Don't ever give up.

"O Lord forgive me when I whine..."
Grant me courage to get back up
many..many times.
Show me the way in the darker hours
Fill me with Your Grace and power.
Allow me the joy..even mediocrity can bring
Create in me the clean
and yielding heart...
such that I can sing
with the birds in early morn.
Though tossed and torn
The scars of victory
should be worn
to speak to others
of the offer....a new start
in Christ Jesus.

   Amen

Gary Roberts is a born again believer in Jesus Christ and one who cherishes study, words, and teaching. He is retired on disability, but looks to each day as a special time to study. Gary is currently a member of Fountain Baptist Church. Past relationships with Aversboro Road Baptist - Garner, NC and Holly Hill Baptist - Burlington, NC have been very rewarding with a teaching and card ministry. Thus, Gary's background is conservative Southern Baptist. His beliefs nor his teaching are politically motivated and only a love for the Lord and His Word is at the forefront.
