Philippians 2:9-11 (New International Version)
9Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name,
10that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,
in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
11and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father.
Commentary:
Psalm 10:4 (New International Version)
4 In his pride the wicked does not seek him;
in all his thoughts there is no room for God.
So many times we don't allow room for God. We go about our way rationalizing our behavior, or exercising pride and enjoying the fruits of our labor. And then; the crisis comes and we are left hopeless in our own efforts. What then?
"Each owe a death...no exceptions."

The ultimate crisis of life is personal surrender to God's Will. The time is now...for us to see, the need for humbling ourselves and finding victory on bended knee. God's ultimate purpose for us is to glorify His Son. His personal will is found in the trenches of adversity and walking daily in obedience.
God's guidance is passed along to us in many different ways:
1. In prayer; the promise we have that he will be faithful to hear our prayers.
2. Circumstances of life; Learning from experience.
3. His Word ; Spirit "Breathed" on those chosen to share.
4. Common Sense; Through conscience and creation.
5. Counsel from those with special insight.
The bended knee
Tends to match
The fork in the road.
A fine time for direction…
Even better time to lessen the load…
Casting our burden
On a God who deals in perfection…
And whose power is limitless…
And Great in Faithfulness.
