Can You Imagine...?

I cannot imagine
how some can overlook
creation to pin it on a big bang.
Even as the birds sing
and folks go on and about...
it has been revealed as the sparrow sang...
in rain and shine.
Mine...is both in creation and conscious
that God would provide free....
what many fail to see...
and mark us with an inner sense
of right and wrong...
and a marvelous place in which to belong
and to grow in His Grace.
When at last we come face to face
and knees bow and mountains sing..
to that Cross we can only cling...
and present ourselves as the expectant bride...
for an eternity with the God and Master
in Heaven to reside.

Lord,
Remove our blinders
that we may see
and perceive the beauty of Your world.
Unfurl
the essence of You Son...
There is no other way to the  Father...
than through His only Begotten...
whose name is Truth, Life, and Prince...
of Peace.

Gary Roberts is a born again believer in Jesus Christ and one who cherishes study, words, and teaching. He is retired on disability, but looks to each day as a special time to study. Gary is currently a member of Fountain Baptist Church. Past relationships with Aversboro Road Baptist - Garner, NC and Holly Hill Baptist - Burlington, NC have been very rewarding with a teaching and card ministry. Thus, Gary's background is conservative Southern Baptist. His beliefs nor his teaching are politically motivated and only a love for the Lord and His Word is at the forefront.
