"Brought Out to Be Brought In..."

Genesis 15:6-7

6 Abram believed the LORD, and he credited it to him as righteousness.

7 He also said to him, "I am the LORD, who brought you out of Ur of the Chaldean to give you this land to take possession of it."

The Patriarch himself, Abraham, was considered righteous because of his faith.
Since the beginning it's always been "Faith"...in the one God who led the people out of slavery in Egypt and "Faith" in the beloved son of God who came according to His Father's plan to provide
deliverance from the slavery of sin by offering a justification (made right before God) based
on the blood shed on the Cross.
Abraham was called to leave his home in Ur and to travel to a land far away through the desert, all on a promise of God to provide a land, Canaan, and descendants as numbered as
the grains of sand. Abraham left the security of home and moved in answer to God's plan.
God's plan for His people, Israelites, required a bringing out of Egypt. God did it in His own time and then delivered His commandments and instructions for the Temple.
They were brought out!

So many other examples of in the Scripture speak of those who were called out for a particular
purpose at a specific time. God's control of history has held as true as his prophecies.
They were brought out!

Many times we experience adversity and many times we falter. Famous examples of Abraham Lincoln losing elections prior to becoming a resident for all time. Thomas Edison failure over 1000 experiments before inventing the light bulb. God has to Bring us out of the darkness of failure or misunderstanding in order for Him to bring us into a relationship with Him.
Just be still and allow God to guide. He will bring us oUT !

W
hen it all finds its way south

and doubt
runs rampant through the mind...
i find
a time for quiet.

when it all seems further north

and I'm back and forth
with thoughts of every kind...
i find
a time for quiet.

when it all holds east or west
and my best
still leaves me far behind

I find picture by Melinda Holloway a time for quiet.

O God
I'm still
Thrill me with Your voice...in my heart.
Impart
what I need for this day.
Protect me from evil
and help me stay
within Your Will

May the sparrows find open barns
and still....sing in the rain.
