When Passion Becomes Personal...

Jesus said in Matthew 7:7

7"Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 8For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.”
When our burdens become overbearing
and our hearts grow weary
When the days seem long and we are constantly preparing
Our passion runs deep and each matter becomes personal.

When the face of failure enters our path
When sleepless nights leave us tired each day.
When it seems that turmoil will endlessly last...
Our passion reaches new heights and becomes personal

When our life becomes as the compass pointing hither and yon.
When both friend and foe gather to review our plight
And take special note of how we respond.
Our passion  is heightened by our Savior's call...
O yes...we stand firm and tall...and our passion becomes personal.

Our Lord calls us to attention when we are in need.  His Word noted
all we have to do is Seek Him with all our heart, and Ask for it will be given.
The help we need to lift our burdens rest as close as the floor and a bended knee.
Such is the plight of man who without God has no compass no eternal hope.

Lord,
Gently reach out your hand
and help us to stand in a world
stressing today and with no care for the future.
Thank you for the hope that is our in Your Son.
Amen
