Appropriately aimed skyward
For Grandma’s eye.
An angel’s aim for attention
Converts patty cake into a symphony..
And a blown kiss
into exquisite artistry…
Truly gifts of God.
Cupped hands in prayer
there is no sight more beautiful.

God's plan
is that we show our children the way.
We must not say
go and pray for peace.
The very least
Be the greatest....
And that they need to know
but also that to be great now
we must somehow
humble ourselves in this world
and be filled with His Spirit.....His love.
Jesus knew we must come as children.
He knew the cupped hand
was the way to God.....and the promise of peace
The child understands
While the adult works with his hands.....
Will we ever cup them....point them upward
touch the tip of our chin
Will we ever win this battle for calm......

Child's Prayer

Tell me a story...Mom.

just one more.... Dad.

You know... the one about the bears

or the little girl with the hood.

There i stood...

flattered at the need...

but still with...our little one to feed.

You know Jesus said we must

come even as children..

not blind to the facts...

but public in our act

and with an eagerness to know more.

He has opened our door

and he ask for no more

than we can give..

Only that we live...

for Him.

Many profound stories have been given...

ever so gentle that

they open up our mind and hearts.

Should we seek...as babes...we shall find...

even if our mind

is not set..we are familar...

in times for which we are so limited.
