A Time for Quiet… There is a time for quiet A reason To be still.. A season To examine And a need to be bound. There is a time for rest A cause To be sought A pause To find peace And a self to be found.. There is a time for writing A sharing To be rendered A caring To be dispersed And thoughts to expound. To that end……I move.

A Time for Quiet...Peace
A Time for Quiet...
This is what Isaiah, the prophet, meant when he wrote:
And the work of righteousness will be peace,
And the service of righteousness, quietness and confidence forever.
Then my people will live in a peaceful habitation,
And in secure dwellings and in undisturbed resting places (32:17-18).
You know...Peace is not merely the absence of war or external conflict. It's a spirit of rest
profoundly dealt to the believer according to Jesus' righteousness. We are made right before God
based on His one act of sacrifice on the Cross. Thus our "Justification" keeps us in "perfect peace' when we rest upon the marvelous work of our Savior...Emanuel...God is with us as the Prince of Peace.

Find Yourself and God...in the Early Morn!
Enticed by the crisp air
and early morning dew,
I experienced what is available to all
but witnessed by just a few.
An early morning sunrise
opening the door to God's new day.
Adding light to what was darkness
with it's ever so constant ray.
Bearing down on the lives of all
but of interest to only some.
Never ending and never asking
when to leave or when to come.
Set by nature's saintly standard…
partly predictable but never sure.
Except as God deems necessary…
for all the world to endure.
I marvel at it's sheer radiance
and revel over the fiery glow.
And long to be so consistent in my life
that God so graciously bestowed.
Faith as bright as the brilliant beam
and as sure as the rise and set.
Faith that endures and grows to stand
all man's worldly tests.
Be restrained and satisfied in moderation
and ever cautious not to regress.
As man's sometimes selfish standard
Breeds bitter loneliness and distress.
Find solace and consolation
In God's gifts gracefully adorned.
Rise early and be with yourself and God
In the early morn.
